Overlook

Axtech is a brand of electric generators and industrial equipment from England, specialized on the fabrication and distributon of welders and electrical inversors.

The client aproached in search to improve the website he already owned and wanted to transform it into an E-Commerce or online shop interface.

Insight

The best user experience to develop comes from comertial competition analysis. We focused the study on the local and regional competition, due to them beign the main sales focus and target.

Sketching 

To figure out how to develop the website, its necesary to know how many sections will it contain and gather all images along the information from every product that is going to be placed inside the e-commerce stock.The search bar on top is going to help the costumer find the exact object desired, and the sticky menu on top will have all sections separed in lists containing products, promotions or brands search. It was determined that the customizable sidebar was going to be included once a selected item was clicked on so the full information will appear only for a single item and give the costumer the chance to read the complete description to ensure the product is accurate.

Sitemap

The e-commerce was planned to contain 3 main sections for product: "Product", "On sale" and "Brands". The find us section contains the detailed information about how the business runs its payments, deliveries and Guaranties.

Wireframing

The wireframing consisted in placing the main assets from the initial product sections at the first page so the costumer can find a viusual guide into the goffer the ecommerce has.

Final site

The e-commerce was completed in the investigation and sketching phase, while due to the differences between my managers and the client at that moment, i wasnt able to complete the project so i handed it to the client, but not before i correctly uploaded the massive data charge for the products and deployed the complete styling on the Woocommerce theme.
